Video game developer Telltale Games has shared the first details on the second season of its popular interactive adventure The Walking Dead.
Launching later this year, season two of the series resumes the journey of Clementine, a young girl who loses her parents at the start of a zombie apocalypse. Clementine must fend for herself as she attempts to stay alive while zombies overtake the U.S.
As with The Walking Dead's inaugural season, the story will play out over five episodes, wrapping up by 2014. Each episode for PC and Mac is $5, but users can purchase the full season now for $22.49. Versions for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Apple iOS are also in the works.
The first season was a critical and commercial success for Telltale, best known for its lineup of adventure games. More than 21 million episodes from season one have been sold worldwide.
