Those wondering what Paul McCartney thought of the "Yesterday" cover Carrie Underwood performed during Sunday's Emmy Awards should wonder no more. The coolest thing about singing "Yesterday" on the #Emmys is the sweet letter I got from @PaulMcCartney giving me his blessing to sing it!

nothing screams "the magic of television" like carrie underwood singing "yesterday"

At this point, we're curious as hell just how worse the #Emmys can get. Is Carrie Underwood doing a tribute to yesterday?
