On Thursday, Sir Paul McCartney conducted his first ever Twitter Q&A to celebrate his upcoming "New" album stateside release on October 15.
Fans asked McCartney about future duet plans (possibly Bob Dylan), the album's artwork inspiration and what keeps the Beatle motivated.
The singer was also questioned about his most recent music purchases. It turns out, he's quite the hip hop fan.
Cheers @JacksonBeatles The last albums I bought were by @kanyewest @The_National @thecivilwars and @s_c_ (Jay Z) #askMacca

Last month, McCartney got the music momentum going by publicizing the "New" 12-song track list. Mark Ronson and Paul Epworth produced several songs for the album.
"New" marks the 71-year-old's second record release since 2012 ("Kisses On The Bottom").
Thankfully, the rock legend has no plans to slow down. When asked about retiring at a Chicago radio station interview, the star replied, "Retire from what? I'd do this for nothing."
