Benedict Cumberbatch is the talk of Toronto International Film Festival, after debuting his role of Julian Assange in 'The Fifth Estate'.
This latest exploration of the Wikileaks story is based on a book by Guardian journalists David Leigh and Luke Harding, as well as the disenchanted account of Assange's former colleague, Daniel Domscheit-Berg.

Cumberbatch's convincing take on the singular Assange has already created Oscar murmurs, but this isn't the only film he's presenting at the Festival - he's in two more, '12 Years a Slave' directed by Steve McQueen, and 'August: Osage County' co-starring Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts.
After he'd finished his red carpet duties, Cumberbatch joined his co-star and fellow Brit export Dan Stevens for an evening at Toronto's Soho House.
'The Fifth Estate' producer Michael Sugar held an exclusive party on the House's Club Floor, and was joined by cast members including Cumberbatch, Alicia Vikander and Daniel Brühl.
