President Barack Obama gets blamed for a lot of things, but we're pretty sure Miley Cyrus' behavior can't be pinned on him.


But then again, it was under his presidency that Cyrus transitioned from Disney darling Hannah Montana to the girl who twerked and dry-humped a foam finger on national television -- at least according to a meme tweeted by the singer:

The first incarnation of the meme seems to have popped up a couple weeks after her now infamous MTV VMAs performance. Since the singer posted it to her Twitter account on Monday (Nov. 4), it's been retweeted more than 39,000 times.


Now, if the president could just convince the singer to keep her tongue in her mouth, we'd have another reason to say, "Thanks, Obama."
