Lady Gaga has a thing for the Muppets, and now she's teaming up with the beloved crew for a holiday TV special.
Gaga recently filmed the special in Los Angeles, according to E! News. It's one of several opportunities the singer has seized to collaborate with the Muppets. During a July 2009 interview with German television, the singer wore a dress made of stuffed Kermit the Frog dolls. A few months after that, she brought the amphibian as her date to the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2010, Jim Henson's Creature Shop contributed pieces to Gaga's Monster Ball Tour. The following year, the singer filmed a cameo for the live-action Muppets movie starring Jason Segal, but it was cut due to length constraints.
Now Gaga can join Kermit for a rendition of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" or whatever other holidays classics she chooses to perform. Specific details regarding the special have not been made public, other than a Dec. 13 air date on ABC. That's just over a month after her forthcoming album, "ARTPOP," becomes, in Gaga's words, "the album of the millennium."
