From Miley Cyrus' nude "Wrecking Ball" video to Rihanna's stripper-celebrating visuals for "Pour It Up," female artists have taken to stripping down for their big music videos in recent weeks.

While Katy Perry once appeared nude in her "California Gurls" music video, the 28-year-old singer now says she is getting too old to appear without clothes -- and slightly dings her pal Rihanna in the process.

"Maybe I'm just getting a little bit older and as you get older you realize, 'Oh I don't know if I can pull that off anymore,'" Perry said in a recent interview with Capital FM. "I mean, if I had Rihanna's body I would wear everything that Rihanna wears because she looks fabulous in all of it."

"But I think I want to keep the attention on my music," Perry continued. "I really have a lot of confidence in my songs that are coming out and that's where I need most of the focus."

Perry drops her fourth studio album, "Prism," this month. The project, which is led by the hit single "Roar," has Perry experimenting with different sounds and opening up about her emotional divorce with former husband Russell Brand. The album hits stores on Oct. 22.

  • Angelina Jolie

From "Foxfire" to "Wanted," Hollywood's infamous bad-girl-gone-prolific-mother has never been shy about taking it off on screen. She also appeared nude in "Pushing Tin," "Original Sin," "Taking Lives" and "Changeling."

  • Anne Hathaway

The actress who made her name in Disney movies and rom-coms shocked the world when she doffed it all in 2004's "Havoc," but that would certainly not be her last nude scene. Less than one year later, she was naked again, this time in "Brokeback Mountain." A few years later, she was at it again for "Rachel Getting Married," followed by yet another scene in "Love and Other Drugs."

  • Nicole Kidman

Mrs. Keith Urban was actually nude in her first big US movie role in 1989's "Dead Calm." She was, however, also nude in: "Days of Thunder," "Moulin Rouge," "The Human Stain," "Cold Mountain," "Birth," "Australia," "Birthday Girl," "Windrider," "Billy Bathgate," "Eyes Wide Shut," "The Portrait of a Lady" ... Can we stop now?

  • Marisa Tomei

She waited 20 years before filming a nude scene, but her turn in "Factotum" proved to not be her last adventurous outing. She's naked for much of "The Devil Knows You're Dead" and she plays a stripper in 2008's "The Wrestler." Perhaps 20 years from now she'll decide to stop making nude scenes.

  • Kate Winslet

Kate's an especially prolific nude scene-r, from 1996's "Jude" to "Titanic" to "Little Children" to "Revolutionary Road" to "The Reader." That "Titanic" scene may be one of the most famous nude scenes of all times, despite Winslet saying she was embarrassed by it. Maybe she should see "Titanic 3-D" in China, where regulators censored her breasts. She's also appeared nude in "Hamlet" (Ophelia! Get thee to a nunnery!), "Hideous Kinky," "Quills," "Holy Smoke!" "Iris" and "Heavenly Creatures."

  • Julianne Moore

Moore is an A-lister who never really showed much hesitation appearing nude, with racy scenes in everything from "Body of Evidence" to "The Big Lebowski." She's been naked in quite a few other movies, including "The Kids Are All Right," "Boogie Nights," "Chloe," "Blindness" and too many other movies to name.

  • Sharon Stone

    "Basic Instinct," enough said.

(See also: "Sliver," "Irreconcilable Differences," "Cold Steel," "Action Jackson," "Blood and Sand," "Total Recall," "Year of the Gun," "Scissors," "Intersection," "The Specialist," "The Quick and the Dead," "Casino," "Gloria," "The Muse," "If These Walls Could Talk 2," "A Different Loyalty," "Basic instinct 2.") Suffice it to say there were many stretches where Stone had at least one scene a year.

  • James Franco

The man's an ass, at least when it comes to his nude on-camera work. Forgoing the full frontal in favor of flashing some cheek at any possible chance ("James Dean," "Sonny," "Milk"), the actor who supposedly took 1.3 million college courses at once seems poised for more graphic work, if only because it's just one more thing to add to the already innumerable list of possible conversation pieces circling the artist.

  • Ewan McGregor

No one does it quite like -- or as often -- as Ewan. From "Trainspotting" to "Incendiary" and beyond, the actor repeatedly took it off and paired up with the likes of Tilda Swinton and Jim Carrey. He stripped down in "The Pillow Book," "Velvet Goldmine" and "I Love You Phillip Morris." It's unclear if another male actor can ever unseat him from this somewhat dubious throne, but at least Ewan's having fun reigning?

  • Harvey Keitel

Keitel first took it all off in "Bad Lieutenant" before doing the full monty in the Oscar-nominated "The Piano" a year later. He's unafraid to strip down in the most serious movies of his career, unlike some actors who tend to bare it all for their wonkier releases.

  • Jason Segel

He's only actually done full-frontal in one movie, but the scene in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" catapulted Segel to -- er -- prominence. The actor was supposed to be naked in "The Five Year Engagement," but the scene was cut after the filmmakers decided they couldn't really fit it in. (Really sorry.)
