Shortly after winning the Emmy award for Best Supporting Actress In A Comedy, Merritt Wever won the unofficial award for Best Emmy Speech of All Time, with just four simple words: "I gotta go. Bye."

Variety caught up with the "Nurse Jackie" actress, once she had gathered her thoughts backstage. Given time to process her win, Wever said she would have thanked co-star Edie Falco, along with a number of executives, directors and producers.

As for her super endearing slip up? "It’s hard to do those,” Wever said. "I don’t know how to feel yet. …. I have therapy next week.”
