Carrie Underwood stole the show on Sunday night with the debut of her new theme for the NFL's "Sunday Night Football."
The clip premiered ahead of the Dallas Cowboys' game against the New York Giants. Following in the footsteps of Faith Hill and P!nk, Underwood sings her own take on the classic "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night" for the big games.
The Verizon-sponsored video shows shots of Underwood performing in front of a packed crowd in a pair of denim shorts, juxtaposed with footage of NFL players.
Underwood voiced her excitement for the new theme ahead of the release on Twitter.
I've got this funny feeling that I'm going to be waiting all day for something...

It was announced earlier this year that Underwood would take over the gig from Hill. "For me, it just always seemed like something that would be fun to do," Underwood said about singing the theme. "To watch Faith do it week after week, to see that hype for the game, it's something that's so cool."
