Prepare to say goodbye to your weekends! 'X Factor' fans will get a weekly double dose of the show from day one, when the show returns later this month.
It has been confirmed the tenth series of the talent show will begin on Saturday 31 August, airing on both Saturday AND Sunday nights throughout the series.
The 'X Factor' judges and host Dermot O'Leary As part of the new audition format, viewers will see hopefuls tackle the closed judges' room on Saturday nights, before the successful contestants then audition at Wembley Arena on Sunday nights to see if they're through to Bootcamp.
In previous years, the show has usually aired on both nights from the Bootcamp stage onwards.
Speaking of the change, an ITV source told The Sun: "We want it to be 'The X Factor' weekend. It’s not about bombarding people and overdoing it.
"We are celebrating the show because it’s back with a new look for the tenth anniversary."
The series will run all the way up to the live grand final on 15 December.
Earlier this week, it was revealed who would be helping judges Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne at their Judges' Houses.
Series 1-3 (2004-2006)
The original line-up: Sharon Osbourne, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh
Series 4 (2007)
All change: Dannii Minogue joins Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne, with Brian Freidman replacing Louis Walsh.
Series 4 (2007)
The return of the Walsh: Louis makes a comeback after Brian Freidman is axed from the panel after only a few days of auditions.
Series 5-7 (2008-2010)
The Cheryl era: Cheryl Cole replaces Sharon Osbourne, joining Simon, Dannii and Louis.
Series 8 (2011)
A mass exodus: Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Kelly Rowland join the only original remaining judge, Louis Walsh.
Series 9 (2012)
Schermazing: Nicole Sherzinger replaces Kelly Rowland, joining Gary, Tulisa and Louis.
Series 10 (2013)
She's BACK! Sharon Osbourne rejoins the panel after five years, replacing Tulisa and joining Louis, Gary and Nicole.
